Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Faculty Positions in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology

The Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology Program at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) invites applications for two faculty positions.  We aim to recruit scientists in the early stages of their careers, but talented candidates at all levels will be considered.  Candidates must have completed postdoctoral training with a strong record of research accomplishment.  Successful applicants will be expected to establish a vigorous, independent research program that addresses fundamental questions in cell or developmental biology.  The quality and research potential of the applicant, rather than the precise research topic, are of paramount importance.  However, candidates using proteomic or genomic approaches, model organisms, and/ or advanced imaging approaches are of special interest.  Successful candidates will receive a generous, multi-year start-up package with significant, sustained salary and research support.  OMRF (omrf.org) is an independent, not-for-profit biomedical research institute that provides state-of-the-art core facilities and an interactive, rigorous research environment.  OMRF investigators enjoy close scientific interactions with the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center faculty and participate in OUHSC graduate programs.  For more information about MCDB and these job openings, go to www.omrf.org/mcdb.  Preliminary, confidential inquiries may be addressed to Dr. Kenneth G. Miller at millerk@omrf.org.

To apply please send a CV, a concise research plan and recent publications (maximum of three) via e-mail to Steven Dunn at Steven-Dunn@omrf.org.  Review of applications will begin November 15 and continue until the positions are filled.
