CELLULAR NEUROSCIENCE

TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

The Department of Biological Sciences at Barnard College, Columbia University, seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor (starting August 2007) to participate in undergraduate teaching and establish in an active, externally funded research program.  The successful applicant will use laboratory techniques to investigate aspects of cellular neuroscience.  Before applying, please see www.barnard.edu/biology/neurojob.htm.

Teaching responsibilities include advanced lecture and laboratory courses in Neurobiology, and participation in the Introductory Biology sequence.  Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience is required; teaching experience is desirable.
