Cell signalling in C. elegans
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to investigate the
roles of IP3 and calcium signalling in the regulation of the
behaviour and physiology of C. elegans. Our laboratory aims to
develop an integrated view of the function of signal transduction pathways,
from the molecular mechanisms to the biology of the whole animal. For further
details see http://www.zoo.cam.ac.uk/zoostaff/baylis/homepage.html.
The position is in the Baylis group and is funded by the MRC. It is available
immediately, but there is some flexibility in the start date. The position is
for up to two years in the first instance and may continue subject to further
funding. The salary will be in the range £18,265-£27,399 pa depending on
experience.
Informal enquiries should be addressed to Dr Howard Baylis
(hab@mole.bio.cam.ac.uk). Applicants should send a completed PD18 form
(available at http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/offices/personnel/forms/pd18/) and
their C.V. (including publication list and a brief statement of their research
interests) together with names of two referees, to Anne Garlick (ag318@hermes.cam.ac.uk)
