Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the
University of Cambridge
A post-doctoral research associate position is
available in the laboratory of Howard Baylis in the Department of Zoology. You
will dissect the functions of TRPM channels in the calcium signalling network
that regulates ultradian rhythms in C. elegans. The project includes two
visits to the laboratory of Prof Kevin Strange at Vanderbilt University,
Nashville to perform physiological studies on isolated cells and tissues. Our
laboratory aims to develop an integrated model of the function of signal
transduction pathways; from the molecular mechanisms to the biology of the
whole animal.

The position is available
immediately and the limit of tenure is 31st Oct 2007. The salary
range is £19,460-£29,127.
