Postdoctoral position at the University of Miami

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Laura Bianchi in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, at the University of Miami.

Our laboratory uses genetic, molecular, behavioral, electrophysiological and imaging approaches to study the role of ion channels in sensory perception and neuronal death in Caenorhabditis elegans and mammalian systems.

Applicant should have a PhD in physiology, neuroscience, genetics, cell biology or related fields. Experience using C. elegans as a model organism is a plus.
