Postdoctoral Position at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA

The focus of the laboratory is on epithelial morphogenesis and growth regulation in C. elegans. For refs. see Gobel et al., Dev Cell 2004; 6: 865-873; and Barrett et al., Nat Genetics 2004; 36: 1231-1237. An NIH funded position is available for a first year postdoctoral fellow. The person appointed will investigate tubulogenesis using forward and/or reverse genetic approaches in C. elegans. While previous experience in genetics and especially forward genetic screens in invertebrates, preferably C. elegans, would be desirable, it is not a requirement.
