Postdoctoral position, Hilliard lab, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia

A postdoctoral position is available in the Hilliard lab at the Queensland Brain Institute, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Research in our lab is focused on neuronal development in C. elegans, with emphasis on neuronal polarity and axonal degeneration/regeneration.

Strong background in Molecular Biology, Genetics and Cell Biology are required, and experience with C. elegans is desirable but not essential. Interested applicants should have a Ph.D. in related disciplines, and should send a C.V., a brief summary of research experience, and arrange three letters of reference to be sent directly to mhilliard@rockefeller.edu

Dr. Hilliard will join the University of Queensland in September 2007, and the postdoctoral position will be available immediately after and remain open until filled.
