Research Technician,
Center for Comparative and Functional Genomics, New York University
A full time Research Technician Position is available, in the Piano Lab,
A Bachelor’s degree in the Biological Sciences or related field is
required. Applicants must be motivated, able to work independently as
well as in a group, well organized, and capable of multi-tasking. An
understanding of the fundamental principals of genetics, molecular biology, and
genomics is important. Responsibilities will include general lab work
like making common lab solutions, stocking lab supplies, plate pouring.
But at least half the time will be spent on working on research projects,
especially large-scale genomics projects. Previous research experience
with C. elegans is a plus. Interested applicants should submit a
