FACULTY POSITIONS IN MOLECULAR, CELLULAR AND DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY

 

            The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan solicits applications for tenure-track faculty at the Assistant Professor rank with research interests in developmental biology, neurobiology or endocrinology. We seek individuals who use molecular and genetic approaches to address fundamental questions in animal development or function of regulatory systems; nonmammalian vertebrate or invertebrate model systems are preferred. Applicants are expected to have a PhD degree, postdoctoral experience, demonstrated excellence in research with potential for developing and sustaining independent extramural funding, and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate instruction. Women and members of groups that are currently underrepresented in the life sciences are encouraged to apply. The University is supportive of the needs of dual-career couples.
