A postdoctoral position is available immediately at Cornell University to participate in the NSF-funded research in the field of biochemistry and molecular genetics. The project will use Caenorhabditis elegans as a model species to study the biochemical and genetic interactions of ABC transporters and their roles in heavy metal detoxification.

The successful candidate will have strong background in molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry, and experience working with C. elegans. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills are essential qualifications.
