Pre-2001 meetings were organized by Thomas Bürglin at the Biocenter in Basel.

Description of the meeting:

Since 1997, the BWM (Basel Worm Meeting) gives the opportunity to C. elegans communities from France, Germany, Switzerland and neighboring countries, to meet and to present their research. In principle, the BWM is held once a year in winter or in spring. Presentations are given by 7-8 participants and two invited speakers. No registration fee is required.

The BWM is sponsorized by the SKMB (Schweizerische Kommission für Molekularbiologie).
